Flame of Truth
Inspired by Ezekiel 1:26-27
Like a flame in the dark.
Glowing in the dead of the night.
It is God’s Holiness that keeps it burning so bright.
For He feeds its fire with a power unknown.
So powerful it lights up the seat of His Throne.
It’s not a fire of chaos, but one of warmth, peace, and love.
Taking flight in the air, like the wings of a dove.
It’s a flame that shines bright, like a star in the night.
A beacon in the dark, giving the blind sight.
Its flames igniting the embers of the lost.
Reminding them that Jesus paid the full cost.
He saves what you think is a mess and broken.
With the truth in the words that God has spoken.
He lights the wick to your soul, bringing forth new life.
As the light breaks the darkness, ending your strife.
In the darkness you couldn’t see what you tried to find.
Because you spent so much time stuck in your mind.
Convincing yourself you’re not worthy of His Grace.
You held onto that shame, trying to hide from His Face.
The devils a lie, don’t listen to that snake.
All the things that he will promise are empty and fake.
Look to the one who gave His Life as a plea.
For He has a promise that is a gift for thee.
And by thee, it is everyone that lives under the sun.
Because everything that is good, is found in God’s Son.
The One who bore our sin and our shame.
His Name is Jesus. The Name above all names.
So don’t focus on the evil or the wrong that you do.
Focus on The God who lived and died for you.
Let go of the hurt, the sin and the shame.
And accept the blessing that is found only in His Name.
God loves all His Children, yes, everyone.
Which is why He climbed on a cross, in the form of His Son.
He paid for the wrongs that mankind has done.
And on the third day, He rose just like the sun.
For He is The One True God who walked on this earth.
The One that God made, The One Mary birthed.
He is The God who speaks truth of good promises to come.
And all you must do is believe in His Son.
He did not do what He did out of obligation.
He did it because He’s a Loving King of every nation.
He knew that His Blood could pay for it all.
So, He paid for the sins created by man’s fall.
For we all fall short of The Lord God’s Glory.
Which is why He sent Jesus to rewrite our story.
So let The Light of The Lord fill the depths of your spirit.
And share His Good Word so the lost can hear it.

A Word
Inspired by the book of genesis
A Word was spoken
And life began
Light came before the creation of man
He radiated like only He can
God's Greatest Creation
The Son of Man
Through Him all things were created
He is The Beginning and The End
The Alpha and Omega
His Reign knows no end
From The Light He formed day and separated the night
Then He began to speak and create everything in sight
And after all things were formed and the moment was right
He formed His Masterpiece
His Heart's Delight
In His own image
Man was made
But man couldn't be alone
So, God made an upgrade
Then from man's bone
A woman was grown
God said all things were good
As He watched from His Throne
Then He gave His Creation
Dominion over all
But it didn't take long
For His Creation to fall
A question was asked
And a lie was given power
As they ate from the fruit
Sin bloomed like a flower
So, when your mouth activates
Be mindful of what it will deploy
Because the power of a word
Can create or destroy
